uPVC

The majority of installations are carried out using white uPVC from the Duraflex Diamond Suite range - either shamfered or featured. Various combinations of Golden Oak, White and Mahogany and Rosewood colours are also available.

All windows and doors are fully welded where possible. Mechanical joints are kept to an absolute minimum and are only used where manufacturing will not allow a welded joint to be made.

All windows and doors are reinforced with either aluminium or steel sections as recommended by the profile extruders.

Casement Windows

Our windows are internally glazed as standard but occasionally external glazing necessary due to manufacturing restrictions.  The beads available are in a decorative Scotia, feature or putty line option.

Security is obviously of paramount importance when choosing windows. Each opening vent has a Saracen locking system. At the turn of a handle a centre clawlock secures the window, as well as shoot bolts which locate into hard zinc alloy keeps which aren secured to the window frame. The bolts themselves are made from high strength brass alloy. Combined with the pointed arm of the friction stays locking into end caps, the 5 point locking system makes the window virtually impossible to be forced open. The system also provides a night vent locking point for trickle ventilation. The locking system is insurance approved.

Tilt & Turn Windows

Tilt & Turn Windows have a gearing system, which at the turn of a handle enables the opening vent to tilt in for ventilation or completely open inwards for ease of cleaning or access. Tilt & turn windows are internally beaded as standard.
